Pecan Pie Bark

My dad is a big fan of pecan pie so I like to try to find different versions of it to make for him. I recently made Pecan Pie Muffins and yesterday I made this for Father's Day! 


Pecan Pie Bark


2 sticks butter
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
graham crackers (about 2 packages)


Lay graham crackers, edge to edge, on a rimmed baking sheet. Make sure the whole surface is covered.

In a large saucepan, bring butter, sugar & pecans to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.


Slowly pour boiled mixture over graham crackers, spreading pecans around evenly.

Immediately bake at 350 for 8 minutes.

Allow to cool completely then break into pieces. 
(I was running out of time so I popped it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to harden.)
