Green Chile Taco Bake



1 package ground turkey or beef
2 14-oz cans diced tomatoes
1 cup enchilada sauce
2 tsp ground cumin
10 6-inch flour tortillas
1 4-oz can diced green chiles, drained
2 oz cream cheese, room temp
1 cup shredded cheese



Cook the ground meat and drain.

Stir in tomatoes, enchilada sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for at least 5 minutes.

Pour half the sauce into a 13x9 baking dish.

Wrap the tortillas in a towel and warm in the microwave for about 30 seconds. 

Spread each tortilla with a thin layer of cream cheese then top with green chiles. Fold in half and place over meat sauce.

Pour remining sauce over the top.

Cover with tin foil and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. 

Sprinkle with cheese and bake another 5 minutes.
